Roxas City Bay-Bay Beach

Palina Greenbelt Eco-Park

This estuarine destination treats visitors to a sumptuous seafoods lunch on a bamboo raft while being cruised on still waters. A choice of the traditional hilot or foot spa completes the relaxing respite. Manage by a community-based award organization, this award winning grassroots initiative is an example of how enviromental advocacy thrives as a sustainable social enterprise.

Panay Santa Monica Parish Church

Built in 1774, this iconic church constructed using coral blocks is an example of neoclassic-baroque architecture. Its five-tier belfry houses the biggest Christian bell in Asia. Also dubbed Dakong Lingganay, the bell measures 5 feet high and 7 feet in diameter and weights 10.4 tons. In 1878, the townsfolk pooled their resources together and collected 70 sacks of coins, which was casted into this gigantic ringer. The Church has three other Spanish-era bells. The altar features Spanish-era retablos and wooden statues of Catholic Saints.
